CMA To sign MOC with TRA

The Capital Market Authority will sign a memorandum of cooperation today with Telecommunication Regulatory Authority on mutual cooperation and exchange of information and for provision of assistance to attain their objects stipulated in the Capital Market Law and Telecommunication Regulatory Law.

HE Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Salmi, Executive President of CMA and HE Dr. Hamed Salim Al Rawahi CEO of TRA will sing the memorandum.

TRA was established under Royal Decree 30/2000 to act as regulator of the telecommunication and postal services industry and CMA was established under Royal Decree 80/98 to regulate and supervise the capital market and insurance industry in Oman.
