The Capital Market Authority participated in the activities of the 9th Forum of Muscat Securities Market organized by MSM and Sultan Qaboos University represented by the College of Economics and Political Science during the period 30-31 December 2013
CMA took part with the aim of highlighting the regulatory and legislative role of CMA in the Omani capital market and its significance to financing investment projects and stimulating the progress of the national economy.
The event included educational exhibition in addition to the activities of the College of Economics and Political Science pertaining to the investment and saving aspects and presentation of the best practices of students in investment and related research activities in addition to distribution of booklets and brochures that would contribute to upgrading the knowledge of the visitors of the exhibition.
The 9th Forum included a number of events including a discussion workshop on personal loans delivered by Dr. Hatim Al Shanfari, Members of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman and HE Tawfiq Al Lawatti, member of Majlis Al Shura and economic expertmoh. A workshop on electronic trading will be conducted on Thursday.
