The Public Establishment for Industrial Estates  in collaboration with the Capital Market Authority and the Public Authority for Civil Defence will organize the second awareness workshop  on the requirements of safety and security for industrial establishments in Salalah on Monday 5 September 2016.

The event will be held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Salim Aufeet Abdullah Al Shanfari, President of Dhofar Municipality. The workshop aims to  disseminate awareness among the officers of industrial establishments on the safety and security requirements and arrangements and to know the  risks of work environment, the importance of complying with  preventive guidelines and how to act in the event of fire to reduce the impact.

The move comes as part of the series of awareness workshops for the various industrial estates in the Sultanate as implementation of the recommendations of the first workshop held in Muscat on 23 March 2016
