CMA Takes Part in the Traffic Safety Campaign in Salalah

The Capital Market Authority has participated in the Traffic Safety Exhibition at Sultan Qaboos School, Salalah under the theme “Safe Driving Safe Oman” which was organized  under the  Auspices of HE Dr. Rasheed Al Safi Al Haraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board during the period 18-20 February.

 

CMA’s participation was based on its keenness to take part in the national efforts to reduce road traffic accidents and to highlight the role enhanced traffic culture plays in the community through the legislations and regulations of the insurance sector specifically motor insurance.

 

The  Unified Motor Insurance Policy was explained as well as the new amendments to the policy.

 

The visitors were acquainted with electronic link between Royal Oman Police and insurers supported  by CMA and the importance of creating national partnership through instilling the concepts of self- regulation for road users to reduce road traffic accidents in collaboration with ROP and insurers.
