CMA Participates in Arab Forum of Insurance Supervisors in Dubai

The  Capital Market Authority participated in the Arab Forum of Insurance  Supervisors held in  Dubai, United Arab Emirates with the participation of presidents and representatives of Arab Insurance Supervisory Authorities. CMA’s delegation was chaired by HE Abdullah Salim Al Salmi, Executive President and membership of Ahmed Ali Al Ma’amari, Vice President, Insurance Sector and Ahmed Rashid Al Souti, Specialist at the Department of Media and External Relations.

The Forum was established to enhance communication and cooperation  between Arab Insurance Regulators and Supervisors  through exchange of information, expertise and  common programmes and cooperation in the development of legislative and regulatory frameworks for the insurance sector in line with the international standards of insurance supervision through communication with international institutions such  as International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
