FSA Takes Part in COMEX 2024

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) takes part in the COMEX Global Technology Show 2024 organized by Aldar Al Arabiya Company in partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology and continues for 4 days during the period 27-30 May 2024. FSA’s participation comes to introduce the services it renders to cope with the developments in the information technology and telecommunication to contribute to enhancing the Government’s efforts to reach to digital Omani community. Moreover, taking part in the exhibition and the accompanying events is an opportunity to exchange expertise in the field of government electronic services.

FSA’s participation this years is characterized by the special Zone for Fintech Sandbox in collaboration with the Central Bank of Oman, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority and the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology to display applications related to online trading, digital financial consultancies, online insurance platforms, online portfolio management applications, crowdfunding platforms, open data platform for the financial sector and other Fintech applications.

FSA also participates with its own stand to display its electronic systems and services offered to the public such as online complaints service, the service for compensation of persons injured in traffic accidents, the service for valuation of cancelled vehicles and other platforms such as Dhamani and Bayanat. New platforms are expected to be launched during COMEX such as online legislations encyclopedia and open data platform.
