The Financial Services Authority (FSA) was awarded the Urban Compliance Certificate for Buildings during the Oman Real Estate, Design and Build Exhibition. H.E. Abdullah bin Salim Al Salmi, Executive President of the FSA, accepted the certificate in recognition of the FSA’s commitment to meeting approved planning, technical, and regulatory standards for its building and its efforts to provide an integrated and sustainable working environment.
The recognition comes as part of the FSA’s ongoing efforts to enhance institutional infrastructure efficiency and adopt best practices that contribute to improving workplace quality and achieving advanced levels of compliance and sustainability, in line with Oman Vision 2040’s goals of developing modern and safe working environments.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning launched the Urban Compliance Certificate for Buildings in May 2026 during the Oman Real Estate, Design and Build Exhibition. The certificate recognises buildings that comply with the core standards outlined in the Oman Building Code (OBC) requirements guide in terms of design and implementation, while meeting public safety and security requirements.
