CMA Organize Human Resources Forum for Insurance Sector
The Capital Market Authority will organize “Human Resources Forum” for insurance sector at the Shangri-La Hotel under the patronage of HE Abdullah Salim Al Salmi, Executive President. The forum will be attended by employees of insurance companies, brokers and agents as well as officials, academics and interests persons.
The forum aims to emphasize CMA’s vision for Omanization based on empowering “Tamkeen” the national cadres working for the sector in various roles rather than operational roles through direct communication with the managements and human resources managers and reviewing the opportunities and challenges .
The forum will discuss in the first session the impact of human resources on the insurance sector and the second session the opportunities and challenges and CMA’s vision which is based on qualification, training and empowering.
CMA, represented by the Insurance Business Training Committee, has executed during the past three years training packages in specialized subjects related to accounting, commerce and marketing in addition to leadership development skills with the participation of more the 600 employees working in the sector. CMA is keen to enhance Omanization ratios coinciding with the growth in the sector to about RO 500 million.
Experts and professionals of insurance from specialized colleges and universities in Oman and abroad will take part in the forum.
