The Capital Market Authority is publishing the basic prices of insurance premiums for commercial vehicles for private usages such as taxis, driving learning, rent a car, gas cylinders transportation and drinking water tankers with the aim of providing competitive prices for the public and to ease the selection of insurance products and services available in the market which would enhance competition among insurance companies on the basis of supply and demand.
CMA urges the owners of commercial vehicles for private usage to avail the competitive prices and insurance services provided by insurance companies as part of CMA’s endeavors to reduce the insurance premiums for commercial vehicles.
CMA has issued last year Circular NO. 6/2012 for all insurance companies obligating the companies to have a minimum limit of commercial vehicles in their insurance portfolio.
