CMA Organize Effective Leadership Program for Insurance Companies
With the aim of empowering and qualifying medium management employees in insurance companies working in customer service, marketing, claims, underwriting and human resources departments, the Capital Market Authority held an effective leadership style program in insurance companies, which comes within a series of annual training programs of the national initiative (Tamkeen), which seeks to empower national cadres in the insurance sector in order to achieve the government’s policy based on Omanisation of various public and private sectors. The Tamkeen initiative aims to qualify national cadres in the sector with various insurance technical qualifications and provide them with the skills and capabilities necessary to perform their work to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
The program was held in the city of Salalah in cooperation with the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (BIBF), which aims to develop leadership skills and train the participants to manage work teams and acquaint them with skills in decision-making. The participants were also acquainted with the identification of individual thinking and problem-solving methods in leadership, administrative concepts of leaders, modern management methods, and the areas of their application in various administrative units.
The program also touched on values, policies, practices and systems to enhance high performance, team motivation, and discover the strengths and weaknesses of the participants’ leadership. The participants were also acquainted with thinking in patterns of leading personality and how to develop short term and long term work plans to achieve the objects of leadership and performance progress tracking measures.
