With More than One Million Saudi Riyal in Awards to 44 winners
The GCC Investment Awareness Program announced receiving participations in third season of the GCC Smart Investor Award which targets citizens and residents of the GCC States with financial awards at 1 million Saudi Riyals.
The competent committee will receive the participations until the end of February 2025. The award aims to avail competition among the creative persons whether university or school students or individuals among the citizens and residents of the GCC states through four paths i.e. video, painting, photography and writing to choose 44 winners with 11 awards for each path of creativity to disseminate investment culture and the importance of saving and investment beside combating financial fraud to increase financial awareness of the public to enhance the skill of financial planning as well as sound financial decision making to achieve financial stability.
The award also aims to upgrading the level of financial culture through acquiring the skills and methods required for using financial resources in accordance with efficient methods and successfully.
The supervising committee which comprises experts in the relevant areas of creativity from the various GCC states will sort out the participations and select the winners to be announced together with the awards distribution ceremony date and venue later.
The previous versions of the award achieved a record success in terms of number of participation at more than 47 thousand participations. The previous seasons witnessed increasing the awards from SAR 247,000 to SAR 1 million and addition of the writing path to the other three paths namely video, photography and painting. The number of winners was increased in the second season to 36 winners compared to nine winners in the first season.
The GCC investment awareness program was launched under the direction of the Secretariat general of the GCC with the participation of the GCC Securities Commission to enhance awareness on financial transactions culture and investment in financial markets through awareness campaigns and events.
