The capital Market Authority is to organize a workshop on the importance of compliance with the disclosure provisions in stock markets on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the Businessmen’s Hall, CMA premises.

The workshop aims at enhancing the disclosure culture in the market and boosting the awareness of issuers and insiders on the importance of compliance with disclosure rules and their responsibilities toward this issue to improve the level of transparency and disclosure in the stock market to upgrade market efficiency.

 The workshop targets compliance officers and directors of issuers, investment funds and brokers. The workshop will highlight disclosure requirements of material information and disclosure mechanism in MSM’s website and the challenges facing the stock market in this respect.
