The Capital Market Authority commenced execution of the first workshop for its employees on Management of Strategic Projects during the period 2-6 March 2014.
The move comes as part of CMA’s efforts to upgrade the technical skills of employees toacquaint them with knowledge on project management for better standards and quality of performance and good planning of the available resources.
HE Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Salmi, Executive President of CMA said the organization of a workshop on projects management coincides with CMA’s efforts to achieve the strategy, vision, mission and objectives for capital market and insurance sectors approved by the Board of Directors of CMA for the next five years which were outlined in line with the requirements of economic growth during the coming phase to serve the plans and aprogrammes of the economic development and the accompanying efforts to review the laws and regulations to upgrade the performance of the capital market and insurance sectors which would depend on the employees of CMA and require enhancing their project management arts and handling successful instruments to reach to the goals. He added that upgrading the skills of employee is key component of production process which contributes to the provision of aptitude and competence.
The programmes aims to train administrative and professional employees including general directors and directors of departments. The second workshop will be held next week.
