The Financial Services Authority (FSA) will host a press conference attended by H.E. Abdullah bin Salim Al Salmi, Executive President at the FSA, to introduce the key features of the Executive Regulation of the Securities Law, and to outline their components, characteristics, and regulatory goals. The conference will also provide entities subject to the regulations with an overview of the new regulatory requirements and the mechanisms for implementing them during the compliance adjustment period. The conference will be held at the FSA’s headquarters on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The conference will include a presentation comparing the previous Executive Regulation of the Securities Law with the newly adopted regulation, shedding light on the most significant new provisions introduced. The presentation will explain that the new regulation place particular emphasis on providing alternative and innovative financing options, enhancing financial flexibility and resilience, attracting domestic and foreign capital, and reinforcing the principles of fairness, integrity, and transparency to strengthen investor confidence.

In addition to the presentation, the conference will feature a panel discussion addressing the details of implementing the Executive Regulation of the Securities Law and the new requirements associated with them. The session will shed light on the practical aspects of the newly introduced provisions, helping relevant entities and market participants better understand and apply them.
