The Capital Market Authority has issued the fourth edition of the legislations regulating the capital and insurance markets in the Sultanate.
The updates edition includes the legislations regulating the sectors CMA supervises including the new provisions for licensing insurance agents, clearance and settlement regulation, insurance brokers regulation, secured financing regulations and the latest legal opinions issued by CMA and legal principles issued by the Ministry of Legal Affairs on the public joint stock companies and insurance companies.
The book contains four parts on the regulations pertaining to the companies operating in securities such as the Executive Regulation of the Capital Market Law, the regulations relating to listed companies, the regulations relating to insurance companies and the legal opinions and edicts issued by CMA and the Ministry of Legal Affairs on listed companies and insurance companies.
The book is also available in soft copy and can be obtained from the Department of Finance and will be posted on CMA’s website shortly.
