The Capital Market Authority represented by the Directorate General of Insurance Supervision continued the training programmes for the employees of insurance companies.

A training programmes “Introduction to Insurance” was held at Platinum Hotel Al Khuwair.

The five day programme which will conclude on Thursday covers risks, insurance, legal principles of insurance, risk underwriting, components of insurance market and the need for insurance in Oman.

Participants views:

Salim Khalfan al Shibani from Takaful Oman said “Our participation is to enrich our knowledge as the programme is an introduction to insurance and the basics the employee must command. We hope CMA will continues such programmes.”

Hussain Mohammed Al Lawati from Vision Insurance said”  The programmes was very useful in introducing the basics of insurance and we hope CMA will continue such programmes.”

Badr Al Busaidy from Vision Insurance said “ Organizing such  programmes is evidence CMA is keen to enrich the knowledge of insurance employees of the private sector and was very useful.”
