CMA Organize 5th Training Programe in 2016 for Omani Employees on Motor Insurance
The Capital Market Authority will organize this week specialized training programme on motor insurance for fresh national carders working for the insurance sector with the participation of 30 trainees as part of CMA’s endeavors to provide the national cadres working for the sector the required skills and knowledge. The importance of the programme is due the size of motor insurance market which comes on top of all insurance branches with gross written premiums at 37%.
The training will cover insurance principles and practical practices of motor insurance with introduction on the history of motor insurance, regulations, the unified motor insurance policy and the approved underwriting mechanism to identify the risks , pricing and dealing with claims as well as reinsurance.
The programme is the fifth this year and was preceded by four programmes on computer skills, introduction to insurance, underwriting and pricing skills as part of CMA’s plan to enhance Omanizationh levels in the insurance sector “Enabling in Insurance Sector” The programmes are continuation of the training series which started in the year 2015 which resulted in training more than 400 employees.
