The “Tamkeen” initiative comes within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to empower young national talents in the financial sectors under its supervision, and to enhance their professional readiness by equipping them with the specialized skills, capabilities, and technical knowledge that qualify them to progress along career paths and reach senior leadership and executive levels. This contributes to the sustainable development of these sectors and strengthens their competitiveness.
The initiative also seeks to identify training needs in the targeted sectors based on a comprehensive analysis of data from the Authority’s business portal. The focus has been on studying Omanization rates, analyzing the distribution of human resources across administrative levels, reviewing job specializations and their Omanization percentages, and examining available academic qualifications and professional experience. This analytical approach aims to direct development efforts toward strengthening national human capital in alignment with market and client requirements, while enhancing these sectors’ contribution to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
